Islamabad: The government sealed all routes from Rawalpindi to Islamabad with containers to stop the long march of the Tehreek-e-Insaf.
According to news, Murree Road, Faizabad has been completely closed by installing containers and barbed barriers to the Express Highway, IJP Road to prevent the Freedom March of the Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
In Rawalpindi connected to the capital, the metro bus service and public transport, bus stops and the tailmi institutions have been closed while today’s leaflets in the twin cities have also been postponed.
The government has called police, rangers and FC for Islamabad while all areas leading to the red zone are sealed, causing serious inconvenience to citizens.
On the other hand, the Punjab government has detained local leaders and activists including Tehreek-e-Insaf leaders Mahmood al-Rashid and Senator Ijaz Chaudhry.
