Following the adoption of new regulations for entrance permits and visas in order to streamline the procedure for expatriates, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has started issuing 60-day visit visas. The new regulations are a part of extensive reforms known as the Advanced Visa System, according to the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security (ICP) of the United Arab Emirates (AVS).
A travel agency in the UAE claimed to be among the first to obtain a client a 60-day stay visa for which they are charging AED 500. In addition, a five-year multiple-entry tourist visa is among the most popular choices because it does not call for a sponsor and enables the holder to stay in the Emirates for up to 90 days straight which can be extended another year for the same number of days.
It should be noted that in order to apply for the aforementioned visa, you must have a bank balance of $4,000 or its equivalent in other currencies. Additionally, 60, 90, or 120 day business or work visas are available. Recent graduates from the top 500 universities in the globe are also eligible to apply for visas, which require at least a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.
The following categories of visas are available for admission into the UAE:
- Job investigation.
- visa for business entry.
- 5-year tourist visa with multiple entries.
- Visa required to visit friends or family.
- Visa for temporary employment
- Visa for training and education.
