Sheikhupura (Web Desk): In the Punjabi village of Hachar, close to Sheikhupura, a guy killed eight people with an axe as they were dozing off. The attacker has reportedly been caught by police, and they have also found the weapon he used to commit the massacre.
District Police Officer (DPO) Sheikhupura, Faisal Mukhtar, made a statement in this respect and claimed that the supposedly mentally disturbed guy attacked victims while they were sleeping in various spots on a farm. He added that an investigation into the incident is ongoing. In addition, the Police have retrieved the CCTV footage from the crime scene, and Dilawar and Asad have been named as two of the victims, he continued.
Additionally, Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi, the Chief Minister (CM) of Punjab, has mandated the establishment of a report by the pertinent agencies following the conclusion of the probe. Additionally, he maintained that it is critical to bring the relatives of the victims to justice.
